The Sleep Center was established in 1988 in Biloxi, Mississippi and has quickly grown into one of the largest specialty sleep shops in the Southeast. We now have locations in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana.

All Sleep Center Superstores are individually owned and operated with franchise buying power. This means you are able to get the lowest prices available, while still receiving the hands on and personal attention you deserve.

The Sleep Center-Pensacola opened in December of 1995 in the Eastgate Plaza. After outgrowing 2 different spaces, owners Thane Taylor and Jamie Whiteside decided to build the area‘s first stand alone ‘‘Mattress Superstore’’. The new building is one of the largest one of its kind in all the Southeastern U.S. The Sleep Center left Eastgate Plaza and opened the new Superstore in September of 2007. The New Superstore is located at: 850 Creighton Rd. Pensacola, Florida 32504. (Next to Hancock Bank)

From 2000 to 2007 The Sleep Center also operated a second store in Gulf Breeze, Fl. It was closed when the new Superstore opened. The plans are to one day open another store in that area, availability of suitable sites is the main concern.
